Nia 5Stages is a simple practice based on the body's design, that helps you feel better when integrated into your daily self-care ritual. It blends gentle floor-based movement with somatic (body-centred) education.
You'll be guided to tune into your body and move at your own pace through the 5 stages of human development - embryonic, creeping, crawling, standing and walking.
When practised mindfully, 5Stages has the power to re-pattern, realign, strengthen, and increase energy flow throughout the body, while restoring and calming the nervous system.
Sophie Marsh is a Nia Trainer and teacher based in Brisbane, Australia. She has been guiding people to take care of their body through Nia 5Stages classes for 13 years - in person, online and as part of the Nia White Belt training.
