Gentle Nia is a joyful dance class for all ages and fitness levels. It uses rhythmic movement to uplifting music to nourish, heal, and strengthen your body, mind and spirit.

 

The movements are simple and repetitive on purpose, designed to stimulate the brain, relax and condition the body and bring up feelings of pleasure, connection and joy.  

 

You'll be encouraged to tune into your body and personalise the movement to fit your needs by focusing on ease and "feel good" sensations. You won't be pushed to work harder, improve performance or force any movement. 

 

Fitness benefits include improved balance, flexibility, mobility, strength and coordination. Practising Nia can help reduce stress and anxiety and boost mood and energy.


Join our welcoming community on Monday and Thursday mornings for class and the option of a coffee afterwards. 


Free parking is available at Paddington Central, 200 metres away or if you like hills, in a side street. There's no weekday parking allowed at BrisWest.
