Nia® is joy-infused music movement and mindfulness that lifts your mood and leaves you feeling energised and alive. Nia’s unique blend of martial arts, dance and healing brings a myriad of benefits to your body, mind, emotions, and spirit. 

You'll be guided to tune into your body as you move through simple grounded sequences with lots of freedom to personalise and express yourself. Adaptable for all ages and fitness levels. Nia meets you where you’re at and invites you to move in your own body’s way.

Towards the end of class we go to the earth for FloorPlay, so you may want to have a towel or yoga mat if you prefer to have something under you. You can also use a chair at any time during the class.

Come and join our friendly inclusive community of women aged 40-80. The venue is spacious and air-conditioned/heated. The vibe is relaxed, playful and non-judgemental. There is no off-street parking. Best parking is on a side-street or free in Paddington Central, 200 metres away.

2022 UPDATE: Nia classes are held in line with QLD government COVID regulations.  This means capacity in each class is limited to allow plenty of room to enjoy your experience safely. Please do NOT come to class if you have any flu symptoms, a fever, or feel unwell.
